Abstract: The working paper consists of the research’s results concerning the process of local communication in Poland. Due to the results the map of local communication in Poland is being prepared as well as the list of obstacles in that process. The process of communication between the local authorities and its surroundings cannot be classified as an effective one due to domination of the traditional (non interpersonal) forms of activities.
