Abstract: Results of monitoring of environment of the St.-Petersburg region are analyzed: maintenances and spatial distribution in a snow cover of heavy metals which are one of the most dangerous elements for health of the person. Established correlations between the hydrogen index (pH) of snow water index and the total pollution of snow cover; pollution levels of snow cover, surface water and soil. The maps of the spatial distribution of heavy metals and total pollution.
