INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES DURING MUSIC LESSON: TEACHERS’ PERSPECTIVE

Abstract: The article analyses possibilities of application of information communication technologies (ICT) during music lessons. The results of the conducted research are presented: the frequency of using ICT by music teachers is revealed; the purpose of using ICT is discussed; the preparation of music teachers and their abilities to use ICT are determined; the most proven means of ICT are compared and positive and negative factors of applying ICT during music lessons are presented. The research data allow to state that teachers apply various ICT means and computer programs but not all the potential of information technologies is employed.
