Abstract: It is well known that the role of standardization has increased largely during the last decades; however, the knowledge of students and higher education teachers about the process of standardization is low. In this paper, the results and outcomes of the project for standards teaching in higher education programmes is given. The survey of the knowledge and expectations of engineering students of the first study year was done and selected online modules about ISO standards were created and piloted. Positive feedback was received.
