Abstract: Light is one of the most important factors in learning and education environment. And light is closely related to learning in that it affects human attention and memory. Recent studies have reported that light illumination and color temperature can affect attention, working memory, and long-term memory. However, it still shows inconsistent results due to the variety of lighting and experimental environments used in the study. The inconsistency of these research results can give a lot of difficulty in constructing an optimal educational environment. In order to maximize the effect of learning and to construct a lighting environment with excellent educational performance, it is necessary to derive meaningful information based on the analysis of various research results. Therefore, this study systematically analyzes the effect of light according to the type of working memory, centering on the color temperature of LED lighting, and attempts to derive implications for the optimal educational environment configuration using light.
