Streszczenie: Thrace Region is one of the most important agricultural regions of Turkey with its land condition and water resources. As it is known that Thrace Region is the largest rice – growing area and makes the greatest contribution to production of rice in Turkey. In the present study, production costs of rice producers living in Edirne Province were investigated by using some systematic data collection techniques and an economic assessment was provided in the region by using the detected data from rice producers.
