Streszczenie: The influence of plant biostimulant based on Azospirillum lipoferum DO12 and Brevibacillus parabrevis B50 on tomato yield and quality was studied. Bacterial biomass was formulated as alginate microbeads and applied to soil, during seedling plantation. The applied A. lipoferum DO12 and B. parabrevis B50 increase tomato marketable yield, on the first two waves, by 12.7% and, respectively, by 9.2%. A. lipoferum DO12 determined an increase of tomato content on lycopene (by 18.7%), vitamin C (by 25.4%) and total polyphenols (by 12.3%). Tomato treated with B. parabrevis B50 have lower increase on lycopene (by 8,6%) and vitamin C (by 15.4%), but higher increase on total polyphenols (by 17,2%).
