Streszczenie: Today, with the widespread use of the internet, the importance of information security has increased even more. Cryptography and steganography are the most common security methods. In this article, the steganographic method and the secret image sharing scheme have been used together to securely store the secret key used in the AES encryption algorithm. First, the secret key is embedded into an image with the LSB technique, then the stego-image is divided into share images by Thien and Lin Secret sharing scheme. It is quite difficult to reach a meaningful knowledge with any of these share images. But hidden data can be recovered with threshold-sharing images. As a result, the efficiency of both methods has been demonstrated in terms of securing the encryption key.
