Streszczenie: The article discusses the process of farming terminology, conditions for the formation of farming vocabulary and metaphorization of the term "pochva (ground, soil, land, earth)" in the modern Russian language, the description of the emotional state and social position of the person through the interpretation of the term "pochva".
