Streszczenie: The article presents a methodical version of a summary seminar in which is placed an emphasis on the significance of knowledge about the simple substances and chemical compounds of the elements of the VI-A Group of the Periodic table in solving problems related to the environmental protection. The effectiveness of the proposed seminar is demonstrated by pedagogical experiment. The data show that the developed seminar provides good conditions to enrich the environmental culture of students.
