Streszczenie: In our article we describe how, with which works of Russian literature and at which levels we introduce our students at our school for Russian as a foreign language. We have worked out several forms of familiarization during the years. All these forms we divided into two large groups: those included in the educational programs and those non-included, or extra. Included, in turn, are divided into a) familiarization forms for levels A0, A1 and A2; b) familiarization forms for the transition level B1 and c) familiarization forms for B2, C1 and C2. The extra familiarization forms are connected to participation in different arrangements which we do at the school in addition to ordinary courses. These are participation in performances, in reading roles, in school club «Samovar» meetings devoted to literary issues, such as lectures about literature in Norwegian, celebrating of writers’ jubilees etc. In our article we are going to discuss all forms mentioned above with examples of used texts and ways we are working with them.
