Streszczenie: Nowadays, all manufacturing factories are computerized. The product information becomes digital and can be shared among various participants of the extended enterprise: customers, suppliers and business partners. The Product LifeCycle Management Information System (PLM-IS) becomes collaborative and integrates people, processes and technologies in a context of Customer Satisfaction and Total Quality. Customers opinions and suggestions on products represent a potential of knowledge so high that can be considered a true strategic asset for the acquisition of enterprise competitive advantages. In this paper, a new model of Collaborative Computer Integrated Factory (CCIF), where PLM is integrated with Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Computer Aided technologies (CAx), is proposed. The MES receive from ERP/PLM system information on collaborative product design and convert them into machine commands for PLC, CNC and mechanical devices.
