Biography
Dr. Lidia Măgerușan is researcher at the National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies, INCDTIM Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She holds an M.Sc. in Solid State Physics and a Ph.D. in Physics from Babeș-Bolyai University, followed by postdoctoral work focused on advanced hybrid materials.
Her research focuses on sustainable graphene based technologies, carbon nanomaterials, and their integration into practical electrochemical sensing platforms. She is recognized for developing sensitive sensors for environmental monitoring, food safety, pharmaceutical analysis, and biomedical diagnostics, including the detection of contaminants, additives, heavy metals, and disease related biomarkers.
Dr. Măgerușan has coordinated research grants, contributed to patented technologies, and received international awards and gold medals for inventions with practical application potential.
