Rezumat: Protecting and restoring the health and quality of life of every citizen are basic functions and concern of the state. Two-way relationship exists between health and wealth. Welfare creates directly material conditions. Indirect impact is expressed through social and psychological effects. On the other hand, there is evidence of the influence of income on health.
