Rezumat: The submitted paper deals with some advantages of new media in foreign language education, some prerequisites for successful implementation of new media into foreign language teaching/learning, the development of computer - assisted language learning and some aspects of multimedia presentations and their motivating roles in foreign language teaching/learning.
