Rezumat: The main premise in the paper will be promoting and analyzing the concept of modern security which implements in itself the concept of sustainable development, and give guidelines for the implementation of the concept of sustainable development - sustainable security. Also, the paper will try to identify the roots between sustainable development and security. Undoubtedly, in the paper will make analysis on Sustainable Development in the Republic of Macedonia as one of the basic preconditions for implementing the pledge has to realize the concept of Sustainable Development - Sustainable security.
