Rezumat: The main goal of the present study was to establish the morphological behaviors and productivity of some pepper genotypes with different origin with target increasing of the gene plasma diversity in this crop and their inclusion by forthcoming breeding programs. The experiments were carried out with eight genotype of pepper originating from different regions - Greece, Poland, Spain and Bulgaria. Plants were grown by using the conventional technology for Bulgaria. The morphological characteristic has been taken in phase of full botanical maturity. The productivity was determinated. The correlations between the investigated parameters were calculated. The highest weight of the fruit and thickness of pericarp were observed in line 147-2103 (Bulgaria) and in line 40-2009 (origin in Greece). The highest productivity, 4064.2 kg.da-1, was recorded in genotype 27-21-2011 (Greece) and 174-2013 (Bulgaria), that are particularly promising for enriching of the gene plasma in pepper and for their inclusion in breeding programs.
