Rezumat: The novel technique of sea water desalination is advised. The technique is based on low molecular-weight salt concentration redistribution between two polymer networks with dissimilar ionization degree. Firmly ionised polyelectrolyte gel placed in salt solution accumulates desalinated water. Therefore, desalinated water is removed from polyelectrolyte gel for the duration of the contact with thermosensitive hydrogel. Thermosensitive hydrogel undertakes phase transition (collapse of the gel) while heating. Aforementioned approach gives prospect to collect desalinated water by heating of thermosensitive hydrogel by sun emission.
