Rezumat: Graphene is one of the most promising materials discovered in recent years. It is usually synthesized by using "top-down" traditional methods starting from graphite such as ‘modified Hummers’ method, including steps requiring the use of many chemicals. Alternatively, various “bottom-up” synthesis methods were also developed including fewer steps, being environmentally friendly and economical. In this study, graphene is obtained by carbonization of various mono/poly-saccharides at two different temperatures, 600 °C, and 800 °C, in molten salts (MS) of LiCl/KCl eutectic mixture. Structural properties of graphene products were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). Also, electrical conductivities of all the synthesized materials were measured by 2-point probe analysis.
