Rezumat: The formation of the economic model of the labour force is associated with the need to assess the system of external and internal factors of the labour market. In the context of intensifying intercountry integration, the problem of describing the process of forming the labour force is also associated with the processes of labour mobility, its changes, as well as the formation of new forms of both employment and labour mobility. The aim of the article is an attempt to evaluate the possibilities of economic modelling of the process of forming the labour force, to identify a number of key trends that are characteristic of it in the current socio-economic conditions.
