Rezumat: The main purpose of the paper is to analyze the most essential aspects of the functioning of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria. These aspects are related to the Quality Assurance Policy of the UNWE, the quality objectives of the university and, in particular, of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the structure and composition of quality management bodies at the university level and at the faculty level, and the improvements and changes made in the QMS of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting during the last years.
