Rezumat: The article presents the results of the study, the purpose of which was to study the current state and prospects for the development of methods to assess the effectiveness of innovative projects in housing and communal services in Ukraine in the VUCA World. Considered the concept of efficiency in the system of conceptual apparatus of economic research, the basic approaches to the study of efficiency, the classification of objects of its evaluation. The analysis of the current state of the study of the problem, identified promising directions for the development of approaches to assessing the effectiveness of innovative projects. Approaches to assessing the effectiveness of pilot projects are considered.
