Rezumat: The literature about the use of the cell phone emphasizes that an intensive use of the object can drive toward pathological behaviors, for example anxiety, ringxiety or vibranxiety. The phenomenon is recognized like a cellular addiction and a new word describes it: the nomophobia, and concerns most of young people. The aim of the present research was to verify when people turn on or turn off the cell phone and what does happen when the mobile phone is left at home or is lost.Less than half takes the habit of turning it off at night, and the places where people never turn off the phone are first of all shops and supermarkets, stadium and means of transport. The factorial analysis confirms that the first factor has high emotional value, being associated with a feeling of isolation and loss that triggers nervousness.
