Rezumat: This paper presents the effect of irradiation dose on the gel fraction and crosslink density of the ethylene-propylene–terpolymer (EPDM) rubber blended with polyfunctional monomer trimethylolpropane-trimethacrylate (TMPT) and cross-linked by electron beam (EB). Dependence of gel fraction and crosslink density on irradiation dose was determined from a dose range of 0 kGy to 50kGy. The results indicate that the application of new technologies will lead to a significant improvement in physical properties of finished products and to optimize the curing stage, the most important operation of the technological process for obtaining elastomeric materials.
