Rezumat: The aim of the present work is to make a survey of a new principle and the possibilities for scientific investigations, testing and industrial incorporation of a new shielding material and technology for protection of the IC systems against high energy electromagnetic pulses and ion irradiation. The main result of the implementation of the new principle, material and technology is to increase the safety of the critical military and civilian infrastructures, land-based and space techniques, apparatuses, devices and their components against high energy electromagnetic pulses and ion irradiation, including electromagnetic weapon arsenal of the international terrorist groups.
