Biography
She earned her PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Animal Science) in 1999. She is a professor of Biometrics and Bioinformatics and a leading researcher, with extensive experience in agricultural data analysis across both animal and crop sciences. She has been active in research since 2005.
Her recent work focuses on quantitative genetics in animal science and the conservation and use of animal genetic resources. She has contributed to both national and international research projects and serves on scientific bodies at the national level (Latvian Council of Science) and internationally (NJF).
