Biography
Renato Tomaš, PhD, has been a Full Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, University of Split, Croatia, since 2025. He has served as Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry in multiple terms (2007 to 2009, 2011 to 2013, and 2023 to 2026).
His research focuses on solution and supramolecular chemistry, ionic liquids, and the thermodynamic and transport properties of electrolytes and non electrolytes. He teaches physical chemistry at undergraduate and graduate levels across chemistry, chemical technology, pharmacy, and biology and chemistry programs, and also delivers a PhD level course on selected topics in environmental physical chemistry.
