Abstract: The phase composition of massive titanium preforms obtained using oxidative constructing of thin walled ceramics (OCTC) selected from the exponential section of the kinetic oxidation curve is investigated. It is demonstrated with the help of X-ray phase analysis (XPA) that the phase composition of the preform at the oxidation temperature of 875°C represents a number of oxygen and nitrogen based solid solutions.
