Abstract: Cardiovascular diseases have a certain medical and social importance in our modern society, which calls for a more in-depth studies and research focused on social factors and opportunities for overcome them. The purpose of this study was to characterize the heart attack in patients with acute myocardial infarction and to identify information needs and training groups at risk. An survey of patients with acute myocardial infarction received treatment at the clinic of Cardiology University Hospital "Lozenets" - Sofia. The results show that patients need to be informed and educated about the nature and location of pain in acute myocardial infarction.
