Abstract: The results of these studies were obtained on a stationary trial which has begun in the year 1982, on a soil type carbonat chernozem. Chernozem has good physical, chemical and biological characteristics, which enable a high production potential. The influence of organic and mineral fertilizers, with increasing amounts of nitrogen, on yield and technological quality of sugar beet taproot was tested in the experiment.
