Published: 28 May 2015
Abstract: The article presents data on environmental monitoring of heavy metals in the air of the metropolis. Studied the dynamics of accumulation of ten heavy metals » (iron, chromium, copper, mercury, lead, cadmium, nickel, zinc, cobalt, strontium) in the atmosphere on the streets of Krasnodar with different vehicular traffic. The results of the six-year monitoring of the environmental situation of the city of Krasnodar are presented. It is shown that the content of heavy metals is well correlated with population size and the intensity of traffic.
