Abstract: The article proposes a method for improving the energy efficiency of multi-motor variable frequency electric drives of trunk belt conveyors, based on the conveyor speed changing and controlling of the magnetic state of the motor. At the conclusion is estimated an economic and energy effect of the im-plementation.
