Abstract: There are the results of chemical analysis of the spent electrolyte (an aqueous solution of ammonium sulfate) after the process of electrolytic-plasma polishing stainless steel 12X18H10T (AISI 321) and steel 03H16N15M3 (AISI 316L), and chemical analysis of the solid residue produced after the electrolytic-plasma polishing. The results of these tests can more accurately describe the process model for electrolytic-plasma polishing.
Keywords: finishing, anode heating, polishing, electrolytic-plasma polishing, surface roughness, chemical analysis
