Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the results of an experiment investigating the impact of the teaching process with the use of electronic educational technology on students’ language learning skills development in English as a foreign language. The paper consists of six parts. The first section defines a model of the education in the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. The second part focuses on the essential research categories used in the experiment, different solutions in teaching English for academic purposes and receptive and productive aspect of language acquisition. The last but not least part presents the hypotheses and the applied methodology as well as detailed description of the investigation. The author reveals here the results of the research with respect to the form of online education. Conclusions from the experiment and suggestions for possible follow-up investigations of this issue can be found in the final part of this paper.
