Abstract: This study is part of a stream of research that has a goal of understanding software utilization choices. Technology adoption is one of the most mature areas in Information Systems (IS) research. As one of the most widely accepted model, the UTAUT model was extended to better explain the acceptance and use of technology in a consumer context and called UTATUT2. Here we examine the relationship between the predictors of use in a hedonic volitional setting (Facebook), by using UTAUT2 and we test the validity and explanatory of this model in students’ usage of Facebook as a learning tool.
