Abstract: Complement clauses are subordinate clauses used to complete the meaning relationship of an associated verb or adjective in the main clause. The submitted paper discusses complementation by nominal clauses, both from the structural and functional viewpoint. Furthermore, the necessary attention is devoted to the grammatical positions of nominal finite and nominal non-finite complement clauses and their various functions.
