Abstract: The article proposed the automation technology of the stage of the product life cycle of "technological preparation of the production of products" of a machine-building enterprise. An approach to the conversion of technological documentation in the form of a route map for manufacturing parts of the product, the structure of the software and hardware electronic compiler, and the language that this device implements in hardware is selected and proposed. The proposed technology contributes to the creation of smart enterprise, which is one of the necessary conditions for the competitiveness of engineering production with the advent of the era "Industry 4.0"
