Abstract: Pricing complex industrial products often involves manual assessment of dynamic factors such as factory load, regional purchasing power, and customer success rates. This paper proposes an automated solution for the final pricing stage, integrating manufacturer and customer-specific conditions using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Real-time data from ERP systems and MES is processed via web services, while fuzzy logic formalizes expert knowledge into pricing rules. Sales engineers input basic case characteristics, and the system dynamically computes the price factor. An open-source implementation of IEC 61131-7 for fuzzy control programs demonstrates feasibility, showing that automation enhances decision-making, supports knowledge transfer, and offers flexibility for future integrations.
Keywords: sales management, fuzzy logic, pricing, configurable industrial goods
