Abstract: In the polyethnic society of the Tyumen region, active processes of cultural and linguistic integration are taking place. The establishment of media language preferences contributes to understanding modern linguistic transformations in society and to the implementation of more effective language planning, taking into account existing and emerging new trends and challenges that will help identify ways to regulate language balance, both within the region and in Russia. This study focuses on the dynamics of interpreting cultures and languages based on materials from the Tyumen regional press. The language pairs analyzed include Russian–Khanty, Russian–Tatar, and Russian–English. However, the process cannot be described as unilateral. Alongside it, a reverse process can be observed, in which the Russian language in the regional space increasingly becomes the language of the recipient.
