Abstract: Organosilicate composites (OSC) are widely used as weather- and corrosion-proof, electrically insulating, radiation- and heat-resistant adhesives. OSC represent suspensions of finely dispersed layered silicates (mica, talc, chrysotile), inorganic or organic pigments in solutions of organosilicon oligomers, containing various special modifiers (curing agents, plasticizers, vitreous additives etc.) The peculiarities of their manufacturing and forming are responsible for their structure, properties and application areas.
Keywords: coating, formation, interphase interaction, organosilicate composition, thermooxidative
