Abstract: A number of investigations aimed at an increase in the output characteristics of nanosecond strontium vapor laser, working in the IR spectrum on 8 wavelengths, were performed. Record energy characteristics were achieved, including total average lasing power of 13.5 W, lasing power at two wavelengths in the region of 3 mm of 4.5 W, lasing power at two wavelengths in the region of 1 mm of 1.9 W, and lasing power at wavelength 6.45 mm of 8 W. The laboratory model of a multi-wavelength strontium vapor laser with output power of 5–7 W was developed and manufactured.
Keywords: sealed-off laser, strontium vapour laser, infrared generation
