Abstract: This work is devoted to the description of an optical method for monitoring the biological activity of water and aqueous solutions. A hardware and software system implementing this method is also presented. Results of experimental studies are given using ionic silver solutions, which are used in pharmacology as antiseptics, as an example. This work may be of interest to specialists developing tools for solving problems in medicine and ecology.
