Abstract: High performance concretes posses a series of particularities respective to the middle class ones. The high dosage of cement and the quite reduced ratio water/cement require that the procedure of intensifying the cement hydration be applied in a slightly reduced manner. Apart from the known elements intervening in the structural formation of the cement stone hardened at supernormal temperatures, we also take into consideration the necessity of an uniform and penetrating hydration of the cement grains, the need to separate and disperse them homogenously in the mixture, to improve the contact between the grains and the water and to reduce the screening effect.
