Biography
Born in 1955, he graduated from the Technical University of Heavy Industry in 1979. From 1979 to 1981 he trained as a scholar at the Department of Mechanics. Between 1981 and 1990 he worked as a research fellow at the Research Institute for Combustion Technology, and later became an assistant lecturer.
He defended his Dr. Univ. dissertation in 1990 and completed his PhD in 1996, graduating summa cum laude. He has been a senior lecturer since 1991, an Associate Professor since 1997, and, since 1997, Deputy Director of the Institute. He is a member of several professional organizations, has received scientific awards and scholarships, and specializes in environmentally friendly machining and diamond burnishing.
