Streszczenie: This study aims to assess the current realistic view of education of blind students in Albania at each schooling stage, including the role and importance of typhlo- technique support during the learning process, the improvement of teaching methodology and curricula defining its inclusion to school program and specific subjects as an integral part of same formative process, factors affecting their education and measures to be undertaken for the improvement of the blind student’s education. The scientific viewpoint is the submission of the ideas and solutions for each of the issues raised, the objective assessment of the actual situation as well as the careful examination of the historical facts affecting this process so far, in order to better understand the latest developments in this field. Since the beginning, it is important to emphasize that the range of the issues concerning the education of blind students are specific, because the vision loss constitutes a very special restriction within the framework of disabilities.
