ADJUSTABLE INDUCTOR USING A MEMRISTOR FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS

Streszczenie: The new circuit element memristor has some properties such as charge-dependent resistance which is not mimickable with other circuit elements such as resistor, inductor and capacitor. Memristor is a promising candidate for new analog circuit applications which cannot be done with the three fundamental circuit elements. Following memristor, meminductive and memcapacitive circuit elements with similar properties to memristors are also defined and it has also been shown that memristors can be used to emulate meminductors and memcapacitors which are subsets of meminductive and memcapacitive systems respectively in literature. A physical meminductor has not been found yet. If it were found, it would have an adjustable inductance depending on its charge. In this paper, it has been shown that a charge-dependent adjustable inductor can be made with the same meminductor gyrator and be used in integrated circuits.
