Streszczenie: The reactions of hydrogenation of carbon dioxide, as well as mixtures of carbon oxides, at atmospheric pressure over bimetallic catalytic systems containing dispersed Fe, Co, and Ni nanoparticles immobilized on inert supports were investigated. The highest selectivity toward olefins in the hydrogenation of carbon oxides was observed for iron containing catalysts. It is suggested that the ratio of saturated to unsaturated hydrocarbons in the products is mainly determined by the amount of atomic hydrogen capable of migrating from one active center to another, as well as by the structure of these active centers. Differences in catalytic activity and selectivity of the bimetallic samples are probably associated with different rates of spillover of weakly bound hydrogen (H), as well as with the rate of the jump over effect of CHₓ radicals between active centers.
