Rezumat: Human development is itself an important and global issue. The prerequisites for human development are the numerous conditions of modern technological reality and its own transformative power of the individual. A special role is played in the development of human spiritual and moral values, the formation of which is carried out through a system of affordable and high-grade humanities.

This article offers a broad, philosophical and reflective discussion of human development and moral values within the context of modern civilization, with emphasis on the role of humanities and education. The paper is essay based and relies largely on a limited set of sources, without an extensive review of current international scholarship or a defined analytical methodology. It is published as a viewpoint contribution and should be read as an interpretive perspective rather than as an empirical or comprehensive state of the art study. The article reflects the journal’s editorial scope and review policies in place at the time of publication and is retained as part of the scholarly record.
