Rezumat: It is theoretically analyzed the influence of crossing the instrument axis and the conical deformed rollers in terms of the self-feeding through surface plastic deformation (SPD) over the ratio between the size of the contact zones of deformation elements with supporting cone and the machining details. It is established the presence of local extremes of this ratio with an amendment of the crossing angle. The possibility for different conditions of transmission of torque through the tool’ work is shown so as to achieve greater processing speeds and to use more large deformation forces.
