Abstract: As the role of innovation and R&D strengthens, researches on innovation ecosystems are also more and more extensive. The purpose of this article is to summarize the initial conclusions from the researches launched based on the challenges related to the development of the ZalaZONE research and innovation ecosystem. The introductory section provides an overview based on some of the key researches of the innovation ecosystems. The publication presents a specific literature keyword search method and its results in the field of science park. The general model of the ZalaZONE science park, which can be used as a basis for further research, is also introduced.
